Another one down (EB to GT)

I did the same thing last week with my ecoboost. I decided I would rather spend the money on a GT rather than a motor for the ecoboost.

Thanks for the shoutout Swag! Kinda sad to see the Guard EB go, but a GT is a GT lol. There is NO FEE for us to reassign your tuner from the EB to your GT! Hit me up and I will get you going.

As for the exhaust mods, I would recommend that you go with ARH as well. I can get you hooked up their bottleneck eliminating h-pipe setup too! #ONESTOPSHOP lol

Awesome! I can't imagine what you guys can do for this 5.0 after seeing what you did with the EB.

All these failures are concerning to me as well. I had plans to do some small mods but my car is an early build date as well (11/14) and I rather put my money into a GT knowing that the motor can take whatever you decide to throw at it.

Honestly John none of our clients have had any issues at all. We have been in the EB world from day 0, and not a single client failure since.

Congrats Swag! I'm trying to do the responsible thing and hold out til my house is built but at the same time, driving a ticking time bomb is not comforting.

I couldn't deal with the stress of driving my EB during the midst of all of this nonsense. Granted, I made the choice to mod my DD. Not one I'll make again. Went to the dealership and asked how bad it would hurt...turns out them dying to have an A6 Mustang was enough to soften the blow. Got a pretty good deal all things considering.

Haha I'm thinking tint and then resonator delete H-Pipe.

Anybody have a recommendation for a resonator delete? I don't want to piss off my neighborhood so I'm leaving the stock mufflers for now

I got the Heartthrob H-pipe on American Muscle. Very happy with it. Not too loud, but deeper. Cut 30lbs off the car, and I've had several compliments on the sound.

I want louder though, so I plan on going axle backs next.

I was considering that one, looks like a great deal. Gone are the days of $1000 exhaust to get my EB to sing, although I did like the way it sounded in the end

I've had my EB for a year, was never thrilled with it. Went to dealership about a GT on 4/9 - taking delivery 4/16.

I think he was just wondering if you already bought a GT or were still considering it. I loved my EB but I just wasn't down with the risk involved anymore

My ecoboost was acting funny, took it in, had low compression in, you guessed it, cylinder 3. They said they'd warranty it, so I said, awesome, keep it and give me a GT.
