We made another trip from Atlanta to Valdosta for install of all Steeda parts. This time we had stainless steal brake lines, Hawks P.C.,HPS brake pads, transmission mount, vertical links and coolant tank installed and once again Matt and Jamie (technician) were outstanding to work with. The tour of the facility was outstanding just to see how all the parts were made. Thx again to Steeda , Matt and Jamie for great customer service !!

How do you like the Hawk HPS pads vs stock? Are they comparable to the PowerStop Z23/Z26 pads? I was asking for alternatives to those, to at least have 2 options (I like options. Ha ha), and nobody replied, saying PowerStops are for Mustangs. I didn't like their advertising kept saying they're intended to be bought as a kit, meaning with their rotors, not as pads only. I was going to go with the Z23s, since I'll never track the car (but they use the same compound as the Z26s), which cost around $100 shipped. Let me know. I could use a little less grabby pads than stock, but still want good braking performance. And the main reason to change them is the insane dust they produce; I want less. Much less. Ha ha. Thank you.

I really haven’t had a chance to compare the HPS to the stocks yet, it was pouring after I picked up my vehicle and it’s a straight shot highway drive from Valdosta to Atlanta. But to be honest, I have done a couple of sprinted mountain drives, the last one was The Tail of the Dragon and the stocks held up pretty well. I have no idea what the Powerstops bring to the table.

Yeah, the stock pads won't have any issues with that kind of driving; we already know that. Premium ceramic replacement pads will for sure be less sporty than stock, but should still be good enough for spirited driving. If you put the Hawk HPSs, please let us know how you liked them :). Thank you. Want to have one alternative to the Z23s.
