Late to this party but the box Mantic uses for the clutch is awesome!

Nice build and thank you for reinforcing my decision to go with a Procharger.

Any update on this thread? Thinking about switching to a F1a.
I know it’s a day late and a dollar short, but yeah it’s still kicking ass!

What's the latest on this unit?
Constant state of shenanigans 😂. I did some horse trading on a Gforce Faceplated mag xl last year. (Truthfully I was goaded into it by my buddies) and for a car that I basically daily drive it was cool for all of about 5 minutes. About 10 months into that I knocked the faceplate off 3rd gear, so while it was out I decided it wasn’t going back in. Traded it off for another magnum xl and it’s currently getting built. It’ll have the updated Tick billet front plate with the mechanical fluid pump so no more external unit, and a set of billet shift forks. I’ve also decided to turn it down a notch in attempt to make it more street friendly. Bought some ID1300s and a larger pulley, though I suspect it’ll still crank out 1000-1100 wheel.

@QBailey why do we do this to ourselves? LOL. Hopefully the new transmission works as intended. The ID1300's will do 1100 on e85 no problem.

I have no idea, you’d think I’d learn. 😂

I’ve got lots of long term projects lined up for it. Just a lack of time to do it in. I’ll try and post more updates with pictures on it.

Well, got some goodies today for the new trans. Used the opportunity to get the updated Tick front plate with a mechanical fluid pump, as well as another set of the billet shift forks.

I’ve got to say actually getting to see the forks out of the trans they seem like way over kill but I’m here for it.

The front plate is a work of art as one would expect, I’m debating weather or not I want to rig up a trans cooler GT350R style or not since this will be pumping fluid continuously like a factory setup would.

@QBailey looks awesome! Billet parts always brings the mood up. Is a cooler necessary?
Probably not, but it’s just something to do later if I feel like it. Since I’m still using an Nguage I could wire in a temp sensor if I felt like it as well.

I’ll go ahead and do a photo dump of the parts I’ve collected for the turbo kit I’ll be building in the distant future.

I really like the fit, finish and packaging of the Fathouse kits so I’ll be doing my best to emulate that as much as possible.

I purchased a 3D printed modle of the turbos I’ll be using since that’s significantly cheaper and lighter than manhandling the real thing, plus zona rotor continues to update their turbo aero as time goes on so might as well buy the latest and greatest when I get that far along.

I also bought a 3D printer for myself for the sole purpose of making my own 3D printed exhaust tubing, this is significantly cheaper than buying a premade kit.

For header and collectors I bough the billet units from Shear Fabrications. These will be for schedule 40 1 7/8” pipe. They’ll be heavy but I figure this will help prevent warping with the weight of a turbo hanging off of them.

I also went ahead and bought a pair of Tial wastegates and the Tial Q BOV.

Also for those curious, here’s what the Billet mechanical pump on the tick front plate looks like. There aren’t many pictures of it out there so enjoy.

I was able to do some trading with a buddy and get a nice seat upgrade. These were brand new never installed, and they have the old Ford Racing logo which isn’t produced anymore.

I was also able to snag a new, unused FRP rear seat delete kit off Facebook Marketplace for $400. It really completes the look.

How easy is it to remove the seat delete panel, to access the fuel pump? Just those 3 screws?
