Another 19 vs 20 thread: Please help

After reading countless threads and taking into account preference vs application/science, I can't decide which route to go.

The biggest factor is that my roads are garbage and my Mustang is my daily. I'm currently sitting on the stock wheels and suspension and I don't mind the occasional bump or harsh road.

I also have a set of 20s that I've been sitting on but idk if a suspension rework can mitigate some of the road conditions I face.

So realistically, should I keep the 20s or grab a set of 19s? With either one, I'd be lowered an inch as well.

I'm thinking of running:

19s: 19x11 295-35-19 and 305/35/19
20s: 20x9.5 275/35/30/20 and 20x10.5 295/30/20

Get the 19s. The 20s wheel/tire combo you're sitting on have very little sidewall. You'll be feeling every single pebble on the road with the 20s. The 19s with a nice upgraded suspension will give you a nice compromise between ride quality and handling.

Note: I'd change the front 19" wheels to 19x10.5 instead of 11.

20 inch wheels....
Pros: "bro they look so dope"
Cons: slower acceleration, longer stopping distance, more rotational mass, more rotational inertia, less tire options, more expensive tires, more difficult to fit in most lowered suspensions...

Also, square > staggered always
