Also keep in mind that the Gen 3 Coyote has a higher compression ratio. This will definitely affect the amount of clatter noises that the engine makes.
Get the 19s. The 20s wheel/tire combo you're sitting on have very little sidewall. You'll be feeling every single pebble on the road with the 20s. The 19s with a nice upgraded suspension will give you a nice compromise between ride quality and handling.
Note: I'd change the front 19" wheels to...
What you are talking about is mostly true for dual clutch transmissions which don't have a torque converter. The 10R80 is just your normal automatic transmission and has a torque converter so you really don't have to change your driving style. Just drive it like a normal automatic transmission...
Just had this happen to me yesterday. Full throttle from a stoplight and engine dies suddenly when shifting from 4th to 5th. Car was in Sport+ mode with transmission in D. After rolling to the side of the road, the engine would not start. I shut the car off completely and waited for about 20...
I've only used meth injection of my '14 Focus ST with the EFR7163 turbo and the primary reason that I went down that path is because the COBB Accessport allows for on the fly map switching. I have two maps: with and without meth. There is a 50 whp power difference between the two maps. If I...
The R888R has unbelievably good grip in the dry once they're up to temp. The NT05 doesn't have as much outright grip as the R888R but it's better for daily usage (less NVH and more comfort). Subjectively though, the PS4S has the best driving feel of all three (IMHO). Although it doesn't have the...
Just a FYI, those worked kind of like a CAI and not a heat extractor. They used the high pressure area at the base of the windscreen to push in cold air into the intake.
Still haven't been able to fix the ticking/creaking issue. Seems to come and go with a mind of it's own. Looks like the issue isn't just with the plastic covering the seat rail. I think the rail itself might be not be tightened down properly. When the heat subsides, I will remove everything and...
The alignment shop might be able to if they have a proper computer. Most competent car repair shop should be able to perform the procedure. Its just a matter of plugging in the diagnostic computer and reset the ride height according to the current fuel level.
Steeda's bumpsteer kit really does help to tame that "nervous" feeling in the front. As for tire pressure, I'm running 32 front and 30 rear.
Since you have the Magnaride shocks with lowering springs, you should have a shop reset your shocks "resting" height. This helps a lot with the weird...
What you are experiencing is perfectly normal in a stock car. Factory settings are usually on the safe side meaning understeer under power and nose tuck in when lifting off.
Bluemustang is right. Deflection in the stock suspension is horrendous. Using aftermarket parts to take out the slop and...
I have the P51 in the 20" size. 10" +35mm front and 11" +50mm rear. The fronts are ok but the rear has a very slight poke (about 5mm). I would have liked to go with the 55mm offset but I don't think the spokes would clear the rear caliper.
