Yeah mine was lost by USPS somewhere. Derrick is making another one for me and said he will ship it with Fed Ex or UPS this time.

I'm trying to figure out how to do it automatically with my website backend, that's the tricky part.

This seems to happen in spurts, it happened where we lost about 10% of knobs going out about a year and a half ago, but didn't really happen since aside from something sporadic or weird tracking.

If your able Am could you give me an update Am1683 nervous after all these posts thanks !

You'll get a tracking email when it leaves, but I can tell based on order numbers that yours isn't quite ready yet.

Please keep us appraised of any relevant changes or findings with respect to the USPS debacle. One lost shipment is understandable, but more than that is suspect.

Personally, I would be willing to pay something extra (maybe 5-10$ if possible) for shipment through UPS to avoid this situation. That, or shipping insurance. I'm sure others are in the same boat. I think we should square that out before you send the next shipment.

They've all got shipping insurance, and usually when it comes to it USPS it pretty good about taking care of their customers.

I sent an email this morning to my backend people about switching from USPS to UPS or FedEx or adding the option. So I may be at least offering it as an option.

Well I got a shipping email, but that was October 2nd. Says the location of item is St. Louis. Got the "Preshipment" status, but in almost 3 days it hasnt moved from St. Louis. If it's coming from St. Louis, I know it doesnt take too long to get to Memphis. Unless this "whacky tracking" deal applies here...If it ends up lost, i'll get a knob from somewhere else...But I do hope it does come in, he sent me a pic of it done and it does look great.

When I got my knob the "preshipment" status didn't change at all. I think it was around 5 days after that the knob showed up on my doorstep, however, the tracking status never changed from preshipment.

That comforting to hear. I have had ordered some stuff through USPS in the past, and the status never changed, then BAM there it is at my door. I know Anarchy sometimes deals with USPS losing stuff, I just hope thats not the case here..I love the knob he did for me...
