Anarchy Motive shift knob

Got my Anarchy Motive shift knob last night. It's exactly what I wanted. The orange is a very close match to my cars paint.

I do have one issue. When the knob is screwed down, I can't go into reverse. I tried setting the lock nut higher but when I screw the knob down the nut just screws down, too. How do I install this knob? Do I need an adapter? If so, where do I get it from?

locktite the nut at the height you want overnight then run the ball down.

Glad your orange matched. Mine was 100% off. Came this metallic burnt orange.

I wouldn't even use the lock nut at all. Put some blue loktite on the knobs threads. Start threading it on, put the car in reverse and screw the knob all the way down until it hits the reverse lockout, Put the car in neutral, back off the knob until the pattern is straight. Let the knob sit overnight and you're done. It won't come off unless you want it to.
