How hard or not hard was it to install the part below the knob? I've watched the videos but it's never just that easy.

How hard or not hard was it to install the part below the knob? I've watched the videos but it's never just that easy.

CJ Pny parts has a video of the installation, but you've probably already seen that. It is as easy as it looks in the vid. I've not bought one for my car yet, but I've done two others.

Are you talking about the reverse lock out collar? Not hard at all really, just need to be careful with the leather shift boot and not use too much force. Took less than 15 minutes I think.
