I couldn't wait to create this post. Just when I thought I could not like this car more, I took it outlast night for the first time after the exhaust and re-flash. Folks I have modded many, many vehicles of all types. The way the 350 responded to exhaust is stunning. I have never experienced such seat of the pants gains with headers. My 350 base-lined at 457 rwhp on a dynojet. It goes back on the same dyno this evening I hope. If I made a guess as to the gains I would have to say it is putting down 500 all day, and the mid range torque is notable as well. 4th feels like 3rd did on throttle tip in which it really needed. Now for the sound........Less raspy than stock, cleaner sounding, mean, deeper but still flat plane cranky, quietish at idle, serious business at 8,000. The ngauge is a nice device as well. If anyone is willing to mod there car, do this first. Dyno graphs and videos next week. Bye for now, going out to here what heaven sounds like on race day:

Doug I couldn't agree more!
The ARH system and Lund tune are awesome! On 93 I pulled 511rwhp on a lean tune at 6000 rpm. Since then I've done some data logging with Lund and also can't wait to get back on the dyno. I also added 32 oz of torco octane booster to 5 gallons of 93 and that has now been changed to Sunoco 260GT race fuel. Looking forward to your results! Enjoy.

Did you add a different exhaust system besides headers? Curious since you said it's less raspy than stock and the stock exhaust has no rasp in the regular GT350.

He has the complete ARH system. Headers, X pipe, resonators, mufflers.

Not yet, I have the ARH cats, X pipe, resonators, and mufflers. It sounds and feels like a different car, I still cant wait to measure the changes. I'm guessing 40 - 50 hp and notable improvements in the area under the curve torquewise. You will need to talk to the folks at your exhaust vendor to discuss what to do about the active exhaust valve in the muffler, you cannot just unplug the active valve.

you can just unplug the valves. the mode selections defaults to "good to go" when the ECU senses no signal.

You guys that have to pass emission inspections, how do you get around it with long tubes and an off road pipe. I had an ARH with o/r pipe in my 2013 GT500. When the time came for an inspection I swapped in my ARH cats and swapped my Lund tune to an emission tune he sent me, but I couldn't get the ready lights to turn green.

Why are you fooling around with octane boost when you've got the Lund flex fuel tune? e85 has all the octane you'll ever need.

I run Sunoco 260GT. I don't want to run the E85 in my area because I live in a rural area and the E85 that's sold at the station near me doesn't hardly if ever sell it. I know I could test it and use it, but for as much as I get to drive my car I'd rather run the 260GT and not have to worry about the long term E85 storage effects.

Not on mine. Mode selection became unavailable. Car stays in normal mode. Plus I have been in on correspondence with a programmer at ford who is directly involved with the development and manufacturing of these cars and he stated the exhaust valve signals are tied into the cars software. "Mode selection not available"
i have to call ... i dont know on that one.

How is it that on my magical car, I can unplug both exhaust valves, ( unplugging both ends of the pigtail between the main body harness and the actuator motor) drive around, and have full run of any menu on the car, including being able to swap drive modes?

I drove my car 200 miles with them unplugged and never once got the message.

after thinking about it... Two things... one, both kooks and ARH offer axle back exhausts that do not retain the active exhaust. they dont say anything about it diasbling drive modes.

Furthermore, , while i'd have to verify, I believe the switch is an in-on switch, evidenced by the fact that it starts in normal mode and i'll be it sends power to the switch at WOT in 6th.

I'd question your engineer bud, i think he's incorrect.

I ran through a tank of 260 gt plus over the past couple days... woa... BIG difference.

What i can't stomach all the time is paying 10 bucks a gallon. Filling up your tank brings back $5+ a gallon ptsd from the early 2000s.
