I never had a single DTC. With or without Lund tune. I kept this silence enough so I'll spill the beans. When I ordered my GT350 tune for long tube and catless through beefcake, he never......To be fair Lund never had the same modifications, and we have at least one report of Voodoos car running lean on the generic tune before fuel was added to accommodate the ARH tubes.
1) told Lund I had a gt350
2) told Lund I had long tubes
3) told Lund I was catless.
When I contacted beefcake while at Watson months ago he was rude and short and insulted the guys at Watson.
When I contacted John not (John Lund) at Lund when I got home that same day, he was helpful and had John Lund Sr call me right away. At first Sr was short and rude also because he thought the guys at Watson were judging him and they weren't. They actually said they know he's good. It wasn't until Sr looked at my order from beefcake that he seen all the mistakes in the order. That is why my car ran like shit on Lunds tune that day at Watson. But I will say this. Since I never even tried E85 and only dynoed on 93, data logging sucks. I strictly run Sunoco 260 GT now. I'm not convinced the flex fuel tunes are that good for this car yet, and as little time as I have to even drive my car now because of my work load E85 isn't right for me.
But yes my car detonated BAD on the first Lund tune (not his fault) with that being said I still pulled 511 rwhp on his tune at 6000 rpm when detonation was noticed. I wish it wasn't a bad tune then because I'm sure on the tune and with 2250 rpm to go I'm sure I would of pulled 520rwhp on 93. Since then I have data logged it on 93 and just recently for 100 octane race fuel.
