They live and multiply among us

I find ignorant "butt-whole" drivers across the board. It appears that parents and driving schools are turning out more and more Bevis and Butt-head type kids and drivers, as time progresses. Had one pass me on the inside median the other day, all while fooling with his phone. Then he dropped in, right under the front bumper of a truck, jam on the brakes and then jump over on the right shoulder and try to pass another driver. All in fairly heavy traffic. Can only hope he kills only himself soon and saves some innocent family.

Not sure why this would annoy you. Unless the person directly ahead of you isn't keeping up his speed what would it matter? Many accidents occur due to people not allowing enough space between themselves and the car ahead of them. Sudden stops, sudden turns, wet roads, road kill/debris on the road, rocks getting kicked up...

What annoys me are the drivers who think that the one and half car gap in front of me is space reserved for them. Of course, it's all relative to the driving situation - highway cruising vs. stop and go. But generally, a guy who pulls into my lane and requires me to brake and/or downshift isn't seeing the big picture.
It annoys me because when people in the passing lane leave a big gap, the people in the slow lane constantly pull into that gap and the slow lane ends up being the fast lane. There's a highway on my commute home that I could sometimes flip a coin to decide which lane to be in. People sometimes leave a quarter mile or more in front of them - driving under the speed limit - in the left lane.

Well from my experience if you leave a car and a half gap, someone will pull into it eventually. At least that's true in rush hour traffic around here. It's different outside the cities. I may or may not pull into that size of opening in traffic. It depends on how much I need/want to get into that lane and the speed differential between traffic in each lane.

"Craiger": I agree...I tend to drive conservatively. I often encounter idiots who zoom up to my convertible, take a look, and try to cut me off. Then they slow down to less than the traffic speed, so I then have to slow down also. Unlike many members, I was hoping to have 'emergency stop radar' on my 2015. Instead, my 'heads-up warning' has blared multiple times.

Thoreau explained how, "Some men lead lives of quiet desperation" and it's sad when some drivers want to break out of their "quiet desperation" by by the use of excessive speed and reckless driving.
Didn't know Thoreau talked about reckless driving. Missed that part.

George Carlin used to joke that everyone driving slowly in front of him was an "IDIOT" ...and everyone driving too fast behind him was a "MANIAC"...really funny sketch.

The little woman is forever grumbling that her car doesn't get great MPGs, and the tires don't get the traction they should- what does it mean? Admittedly, it's hard too keep a straight face when she does it. I think it's something about 435hp and stock tires, but Im not sure...........

Every car brand has aggressive drivers...especially Prius & Corolla drivers.
Prius drivers are HORRIBLE!!! I had one almost every morning blowing pass me way over the speed limit heading to work in those things!!! It's like they try and show off for NOTHING! I'm driving a 2014 Honda Accord Coupe V6 (manuals can hit 0-60 in 5.5 secs)! I've seen my car beat older model Mustang v6's (haven't seen any current stangs race yet) in street races and Camaros on track days (probably a FEW mods like exhaust and intake). I look to my left and laugh and say to myself "is she trying to be funny? I would smoke you!!!" Lucky I'm not trying to get more tickets! LOL

I find in this area Prius and econo box drivers are the worst. I had a Prius go by doing well over 80 in a 55 just because. He must not know in VA that's automatic reckless driving. I see it all the time with the Prius and things like Chevy Sparks
I'm from VA also and say the same thing.. I just commented about it in my post before this. LOL

Fascinating thread!
I don't consider myself an aggressive driver, but I know I'm more aggressive with the GT than I was with the Jeep. Probably due to the abilities of the vehicles.
What I have noticed is that this car brings out the inner ass hat of people around me. Anyone in anything remotely 'sporty' feels the need to try and instigate a race at a light, or ride my bumper if I'm not going double the limit.
But as stated above, all makes have fools, but nothing will displace a BMW with Connecticut tags!

Fools driving BMWs should not surprise anyone...just look how "foolish" they were to buy that over-priced, expensive to maintain auto to begin with. " Once a Fool always a Fool". Lol.

honestly i will rather take the m3 or m4 than a mustang gt. the only exception might be the gt350r. i don't think they are foolish tho, they just have more money to blow

As you say, "they just have more money to blow"...exactly right, what you're saying is they're rich and can afford to "blow". So you buy an expensive car because, "A Fool and his money will soon part". I just love "auto snobs" and wonder why you're cruising a Mustang Forum? Could it be the BMW sites are less exciting? Or could all those BMW owners be to busy "blowing their money" to discuss their over-priced cars?
