Trying to get a better understanding of AFR and lambda. New to this Lambda thing. Running a Lund flexfuel tune with 93 pump gas and the alch% learned to 9.8% so it looks good. Lambda stays .99-1.01 at idle and stays at .85 at WOT so it seems to be great.
My question is: as long as lambda stays at 1 for idle and .85 for WOT, does AFR even matter at all?
I notice on the car dash it reads idle AFR at 13.8-14.3 and WOT at 11.8. However, on the N-Guage signals for AFR 1 and 2 it shows 14.4-14.9 for idle AFR and since it shows about .5-.6 higher on the N-Guage signals I assume about 12.3 for WOT. Which one is more accurate?
