The lower price in fuel evens out for the shitty mpg dosnt it?

30% more fuel used with E85. Clearly you need the same difference in 93 vs e85 price to break even. Shouldn't be running E85 if MPG is something even remotely in your mind.

Not really. Just trying to get a ball park on how much I'll spend on fuel. I normally spend about 40 to 50 a week on fuel depending how I drive and how much of coarse. So I should expect to still run about 2 tanks a week? Vs 1.5 tanks that I use now? My bad for all the questions

Yeah, 30% more fuel would come out to a little more than 2 tanks if your at 1.5 now if your foot activity stays the same as it is when you're on 93. I know when I ran e85 on my STI I tended to drive it harder (but e85 made one hell of a difference on that car Vs the NA Coyote). No problem, lots to know.

Well from pmas cai, Lund ff tune, I'm hoping to gain around 25rwhp. Already have Borla sport catback. I'd be happy with close to 435-450 to the wheels. I won't be able to afford forced induction for awhile. Atleast seems that way for now. Gonna add bbk long tubes because getting a killer deal but gonna install those maybe next month or so.

With your mods and running e85, you should end up around 420rwhp SAE with CAI and FF tune.

FF lund tune
JLT

BTW, do you recommend running 0w-40 castrol with my setup?

10-10.4 afr at idle, 8ish WOT. Just watch lambda 1 and 2. They should be around 1.0 at idle and .85 WOT.
@RubyRedBoost

very confused about the whole e85 AFR. Mine is at 9-9.5 at wot. Am i running lean? I do have 47lbs injectors and gt350 manny shifting at 7800RPM. car pulls very hard.

I would assume you will put down 435-445RWHP (On E85) range based on your mods and what others are putting down with the same mods that have shared their #'s. We all know each dyno reads differently, etc. but just sharing what I have seen thus far.

The oil question. I guess it depends on how you drive your car. If you are hard on it, I see no issues running a the weight you have shared. I have been runnning 0W-40 for over 12 months and 3 full oil changes with zero issues. I use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum but will be switching to Amsoil my next change since I just started running E85. This is due to all the oil sample testing that has come back with Amsoil and E85.
