Advice on Lowering springs

Hello All,

This is my 1st foray into the Mustang world. As such I opted to get an EB base with opt. 19's My question is what type of lowering springs can I put on for better handling/lower stance AND and OEM quality ride? I was sure that i could use any springs that the GT's use, and i was dead set on buying a set of Eibachs that give a 1 inch drop in the rear and 1.1 in the front but in the description it states "not for EB". This quickly took the smile off my face as I didn't want to wait for the new Steeda ones to come out. I was ready to order now, lol. I was wanting to go with Eibach pro's but they seem to have just a 1 inch drop all the way around. My car suffers from the increased wheel well clearance up front. So it would stilll be higher in the front with the Eibachs that it says would fit my EB.

they are all fairly similar... the difference between all the current offerings by all makers is more similar than they are different. what is the limiting factor is the very limited range of the stock OEM damper to control said springs.

Also, some of us have loyalty to a brand. hypercoil.

What is the limiting factor that prevents me from using the above listed springs on my base ECO?

Eibach has EB specific springs. They are just about to be released. Mine have been on order since March 10th. I got a confirmation email I was billed last Friday so they expect to ship this week.

If I remember correct they have both pro-kit and sportline for the EB. I ordered the pro-kit.

They do have specific springs. I have my Pro-Kit for the EB sitting in my office, just have not had a chance to install them yet.

When I talked to Eibach, they said the GT springs on the EB caused the front to sit 12mm higher than they wanted, so they revised the springs for the EB/V6 cars. The rear springs are all the same for the S550 on their kits.

Nevermind, I called Eibach and confirmed they will be released in a few weeks. And they will provide the 1.1 " drop in the front I was looking for and the 1.0 in the rear
