Sure, it pairs automatically each wheel and shows appropriate pressure and updates it every few minutes or so, pressure goes up once tyres heat up, this is all shown. It knows which wheel (sensor) is where. Haven't test to lower pressure myself but a friend did it and it showed the wheel properly. The listening sensor must be close to the wheel so it reads only the closest wheel's sensor, this system seems pretty easy.Questions for those of you who say the sensor automatically synced up. If one tire goes low on pressure does the dash information have the correct tire being low?
The reason I'm asking is from what I've read about these things is each sensor has a unique identity and without doing the training procedure the car has no idea which sensor is at which corner of the car. So you'll get a warning of low pressure but it would probably not be the tire you're being warned about.
Later I found that S550 doesn't need the reset tool, that's only needed for S197. At least for the oem TPMS sensors. This is awesome because one can rotate left/right or switch summer/winter sets without any hassle.
