Yo'll I need some advice...

In my gym car park someone parked very close to me. They must have hit their door against mine. I have their red paint on my door now. Very annoying.

I wanted to get some advice in what product to use. The last thing I want to do is make the door worse.

Thanks!

If it's just paint and no dent try your fingernail to remove the paint and a little cleaner wax. If a dent is present try a dent specialist

A mild polish like Meguir's M205 (or polish of your choice) with a foam applicator pad should take it off.

I would use a good cleaner/wax and try to remove the red paint. Or try bug and tar remover. If it doesn't work try using polishing compound- not rubbing compound. Put a very little bit on a dam cotton cloth and gently rub the red paint out. Re-wax after.

Hopefully there is no dent. Sometimes there may be a very faint dent that you can see only when you look at the door at a certain angle and lighting. If there is you need to have it removed by PDR (Paintless Dent Removal).

Get a 2x4, paint it the color of your car and return the favor

Great. Thank you so much. Thankfully no dent. Any advice on the best cleaner wax?

Great - the issue I'm having was I got advice off youtube and DiyCarClean.com and what they said and the product you just mentioned is not available here in the UK. There are other Meguir products, like soooo many, BUT, the one you mentioned isn't here.

Any other type of Meguir product work? I found this G10307EU from them... can that do the trick too?

This is very thorough, thank you so much.
