Okay guys, I guess I wasn't very bright cuz I looked at it from the side and didn't think about trying to look at it from behind to see if I could get to it. I'll throw it back up on my buddies lift next week and try it again.
What? You mean you STILL have a resonator on your car? LOL

Yep, lol, I put roush axle backs on almost immediately when I got the car. And it sounded like removing the resonator would make it even louder and it's plenty loud for me now.
100,000 mi and still going strong, even with the resonator.

There is a gap that is supposed to be present between the parking brake arm and the caliper mount. Easy to measure from inside the wheel. You'll likely find that one side will be tighter than there other. I'd recommend using an IR thermometer to check the rotors to make sure it's not dragging.

3rd click holds the car for me now. But the car needs to move easily by hand when released or you'll heat the rotor/ bearing while driving.

Thanks grim reaper, I saw that adjustment in the PDF Cobra jet sent. and that makes a lot of sense, make it too tight and you actually have the brake partially on.

Apologies, I thought you were trying to be funny as there are a lot of people who don't use theirs, particularly autobox drivers. I'm glad to hear that you use yours, as should everybody, every time they leave the car.

Thanks, but a question for newer car owners: The document lists 2 different tests when e-brake doesn't hold the car: with, and without, an 'SVT performance package'. Is that the same thing as the PP1? Thx.

I’m almost certain the ā€œSVT Perf Packā€ reference is the GT350, which was under the SVT division. I could be totally wrong, but the GT PP1 and PP2 were never part of the SVT division.

Apparently yes, since the 'SVT' parking brake is a shoe-in-drum system, which we PP1 owners obviously don't have, so never mind.

Bottom line is the e-brake clearance from bracket to caliper is supposed to be 1mm, so will check that when I remove the wheels to clean them inside, check the axle nuts, etc. one of these days. I assume the nut on the threaded adjuster is a nylock-nut, right? Thank you again for that document.
