Hey everyone, just bought a 2020 bullitt, it has a steeda h pipe with no resonators and a flowmaster American thunder active axle back. The issue I’m having is that it’s always on loud(which is in normal mode), and whenever I try to put it in “quiet”(valves closed), the valves will close for a few seconds, then fully open, then close, then open again and stay open. I’ve checked the wire harnesses around the mufflers and there’s no fraying or nicks, and obviously the fuse is good or it would say that the exhaust mode is unavailable. Would anyone know why this is happening before I go and spend 500 dollars on new actuators? Thanks in advance!

Maybe a box between the actuators and the rest of the electronics.

Pull the harnesses and check them for continuity with a multimeter, just to confirm there are no breaks in the wiring. You can also remove, inspect and clean the actuators. I wonder if they could have some crud on them that’s causing your issue.

Check post #10 here and make sure the springs are set into the slots and/or they haven’t broken in half.
