Had my car 8 days, and already damaged it. I haven't had an accident in over 20 years. Car was parked illegally blocking view, and I got clipped trying to pull out at about 3-4 mph. I'm trying to see the bright side of this. Maybe I can do some front end upgrades while it is being fixed. I like Cervini's new grille for it. Not much available for hoods except carbon fiber, which is crazy expensive, and is not strong enough without hood pins. Any other ideas? I least they ticketed the parked car.

Dude I’m so sorry this happened to you. I’m happy you’re okay and I know exactly what you’re talking about. There’s always fucking semis parked outside my job that block the entrances/exits constantly. I’ve had a few close calls...

Good luck with the repairs and keep us posted.

Ouch. I feel your pain. I'd be sick as well. A Cervini grill would make me feel better. Good luck.

Ugh...that sucks.
My folks had a brand new Buick with fewer than 10 miles on it. Mom picked the car up from the dealer, pulled curbside to pick my Dad up at work, and wham, rear ended by a drunk driver.
She was ok, car frame was spring, off to the junkyard.
Have fun with the upgrades!

That's really bad. At least she was ok, sounds like the car did its job.

Damn man, I’m sorry to see that happened to you on such a new car. Hopefully it gets fixed up to look even better with some nice aftermarket parts so you can keep enjoying driving it.

Oh man, that sucks. But at least no one got hurt (besides pride) AND from your pics, that’s a fairly easy fix and once repaired, no one will know or be able to tell... don’t sweat it too much. I’m sure the body shop will work with you to upgrade some bits.

That sucks - but if you want to look at the bright side, it's all cosmetic and fairly isolated. You'll have it looking like new in no time.

Hope they gave a ticket for that limo tint too. If that 300 had reasonable tint maybe you could have seen through the window.

$5,100 by the Insurance company estimate. They did not get everything, because they didn't want to open the hood. Just a head's up: The headlights on an 18 are $1,450 each! I think the headlight is not damaged enough to replace. Looks like a scratch behind the grille, and maybe a cracked tab. May be more mod money not sure if we will replace or fix that. The factory grilles are about $480, and Cervini's are $429-$499, so I'm going to get those for sure.

look at the bright side, you didn't really lose anything and you can update your front end a bit

It's not my week. No one seems to have these grilles in stock, except CJ's who want to sell the upper & lower as separate instead of a kit like everyone else. $558 Vs $429. So aggravating....
