I would 100% buy and daily drive year round in the snowy NE.
Given the power of the V8, and likely power of these electric motors, we're probably looking at a 30/70 power split, which would perform quite nicely.
My guess is that the default driving setting would be RWD until slip, at which...
The key is to use a clean brush - as far as clear coat swirls go, you're likely to get them anyway. Let's be honest - if you've made the decision to drive in the winter, then you're already losing the battle of paint damage.
It can be turned off, though I'm not sure if it stays off when you restart the vehicle.
Do you know for sure that you don't want to use it? I ask because I've seen two people post here saying that they thought they wouldn't be a fan, but have enjoyed it to the point that they wouldn't even...
This happens with my VW DSG - if I downshift while breaking, the pedal sinks to the floor way more quickly than if I leave the transmission alone...now I know why!
All seasons on a performance type vehicle are likely the culprit here. I'm not bashing Pirelli's - they make some great tires.
There is no replacement for tires dedicated to the season that you're driving in.
That will work! My daughter would be climbing in on the passenger side (my wife is on the short side, and I usually and up having the seat almost all the way back). As long as I can move the back portion of the seat ahead, I should be in good shape.
I was watching a 2018 GT Premium review the other day, and the reviewer made the point that with the powered seats, you have to use the powered mechanism to slowly move the seat forward each time you want to let a passenger out back.
Is this really the only method of moving that seat ahead? I...
Changing the filter between intervals will likely cause no benefit to the engine, with a good chance of making a mess of your garage. It's a completely unnecessary hassle.
Follow the recommended oil change interval, use quality parts, sleep well.
That's a good point - I guess it would be worth trying out a removable seat w/base. It's been a while since I've had an infant, so I forget how awkward it would be to have to climb out back and buckle them in every time.
To start - any quality rear facing seat will do. Don't bother with a removable seat w/ base, as you won't be taking the seat in and out of the vehicle (you're going to learn quickly that a Mustang with an infant is a total pain, as you will wake the child often while taking them in and out of...
Any issues with the 18 seem to be way overblown, and most "issues" will likely be present on the 19 as well.
Buy the car that you can afford, when you can afford it, and enjoy driving it.
He might be, but it's an extreme rarity.
The funny thing about cars is that when the function normally, few people flock to the web to proclaim how normal their car is operating. When someone gets a lemon, however, the entire world must know about it.
Every Mustang build run is going to...
Only 100 miles?! I would be thinking, "Man, there is this really awesome ice cream stand exactly 100 miles away, and I'm going to have to drive damn fast to get it home before it melts." :D
I wouldn't want them to give up sport - sport is different than +/- mode, as it changes shift points.
I'd like to see:
P
R
N
D -> +/-
S
I'm currently driving a car in this configuration, and it's nice to bump the stick to the right and shift with either the stick or paddles (actually quite...
Just based on the pictures, I'm honestly surprised that those airbags went off. I'm not saying it's a bad thing - more often than not I see cars in accidents that didn't have the bags deploy when they definitely should have.
As for totaled vs not, it's a tough call. The fact that it's a 2011...
