Lol seriously. Imagine being “disappointed” by a 480 HP V8 car, as if you’re gonna be able to use all that power when most people don’t even go to the track.
Not sure why some people are saying a 2017 GT is doing 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. I’ve done 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and MotorTrend got the same result with the first S550 model almost 5 years ago. Sounds like you should probably take your car in to Ford cause that isn’t right.

Very interesting article about the future of the V8 in the Mustang. I think a lot of us know it's coming to an end soon, but there are a lot of stubborn folks who think it won't happen anytime in...
The photo is from the LA Auto Show. Just for the record it doesn't say it will only have 650HP, it says "supercharged V8 that will deliver over 650HP". I have no idea why they changed that, but we'll find out soon enough.
These mother fuckers are really gonna drop the Voodoo flat plane crank and slap a supercharger on it for this car, aren't they? That's gonna be glorious if they do. I saw a photo from this event where they kinda double down on the GT500 making 700+ HP. Thoughts?
I’m pretty relaxed unless a left lane camper gets under my skin or people tailgate my ass. I’ve watched too many videos on r/roadcam & r/idiotsincars to not want to end up on there.
I actually got the Vantrue N2 Pro Dash Cam on Amazon about a month ago on a ridiculous Prime sale. It’s $200, but I grabbed it for $90. So so so good. Was using a Z-Edge Z3 before and it did the job okay.
The 4 banger 1LE is going to be a cool fucking car. I wonder if Ford would consider tweaking the Ecoboost PP with stuff from the PP2 to compete with the new Camaro. This is why I love the Camaro, I think it's fantastic that the 1LE is not an option for the top the trim only, but for EVERY trim...
There's nothing wrong with friendly banter, but his point is that there are a lot of V8 snobs who don't see the V6/Ecoboost as a real Mustang. Which is true, these people exist, they also exist in the Camaro & Challenger world.
Dude no one is saying the V6 or Ecoboost are shitty. My first Mustang was a V6 and I had just as much fun in that car as I do in my GT. I think the units sold between the two trims are close, I remember seeing that in a sales thread, I just don't remember which one. It was an interesting read.
Well I said almost half, the Ecoboost should sell more, but I don't think the gap between the 4 banger and V8 is that big.
To me this sentence tells me that the V8 is selling very well, but this can be interpreted in many different ways I suppose.
Al also made it seem like the 4 banger is outselling the V8 by a wide margin, which is not true. I believe almost half the Mustang’s sold are 5.0 w/ a few being the GT350/R.
I think the S650 GT will start by offering a revised beefier Coyote engine, but we'll see parts of the hybrid Mustang trickling down to it in a mid-cycle refresh. Which would make a lot of sense. It would give them the opportunity to see what works, what doesn't, and to perfect the hybrid stuff...
