Is it common knowledge that the ABS fuse is to be pulled to get accurate torque readings during a Dyno pull? You guys that have dyno'd your cars: Did you pull your ABS fuses??

Thanks

Didn't know that, be careful yanking fuses on these cars though. If you bring down the high speed network or trip certain trouble codes the car can go into "limp mode".

MAP made a thread about this specifically.

The other alternative is an AWD dyno. ;)

I'm also wondering if this is indigenous to the EcoBoost or would it include the GT??

I haven't checked to see personally, but I would guess so. These cars are not the only ones that experience behavior like this either.

Has to be a linked AWD dyno in order for it to work properly. Dynojets are free rolling front and rear so you would still have to pull the fuse.

So even if I set the car to "Track" mode (which disables the speed limiter) and turn off the Traction control and DSC I still have to pull the ABS fuse?

Which brings me to another question: Does setting the car to "Track" mode automatically disable Traction Control and DSC or does that still have to be done with the toggle?? I asked that question of my salesman and he looked at me like I was crazy:headbonk:

Thanks,

I's my experience that you can make 1 sometimes 2 dynopulls before the cr frteaks without the ABS fuse pulled and triggers All the lighs on the Dash etc Track mode or not ..

ABS fuse out make pulls all night . Just for reference I don't believe it would effect HP/TQ numbers on the first run but the 2nd or 3rd could
