Dyno'ing your car? Look here first!

Before you get on the dyno, please remove the fuse below. A couple of members have reached out to me asking me why their car was freaking out, this is why! This is your ABS fuse, your ABS system freaks out when it sees the rear tires spinning at a high rate of speed and the fronts are staying still.

Mods, can we make this a sticky?

Appreciate that all those lights on my dash after 3 dyno runs and having to drive it around the block to reset my Advance Trac was getting annoying lol ..

I would love to pick your brain one evening on some tuning issues I have been running into and also a MAP catback

Thanks Adam! I am going to try pulling this fuse at my next Autocross event and see if it fixes the warning light that keeps coming on about "Advance Trac Service".

Im bringing this thread from the dead. When on the dyno is it best to be in 5th gear for the 1:1 ratio?

Recommend 4th gear because 5th gear is too high of a speed for a dyno, and it takes FOREVER.

I dynoed a friends in 5th gear in my home garage ... his gt hit about 160mph on the dyno. It did take forever, but he wanted 5th gear.

I have been seeing people mention Fuse#62 - as well.

I have had the fuse in this thread pulled forever, but if the #62 works, then I would like to hook it up to a toggle, since it is only a 5A, instead of 50.

Anyone?

Wouldnt turning on Line Lock during the Dyno run give you about the same effect?
Or I've heard if you hold the traction control switch for 8 seconds it turns everything related to it off??? Thoughts?

Ecoboost doesn't have line lock. Not sure if it would be the same or not though.
