Well, I am ordering a Ingot Silver GT with PP next week. I was going to go with the standard ebony leather, but I am unsure of what the premium ebony trim looks like. On the Ford build and price portion of the website, it does not show me the difference between ebony and premium ebony. Is it just stitching? Some one please enlighten me. Thanks in advance.

I believe the premier trim has "full" leather seating while the regular leather trim is "partial" leather. My guess is the actual seating surface on the base leather is like a BMW sensa-tac type material (as opposed to the side sections which would be leather on both), while on the premier trim it's actual perforated leather. The stitching pattern on the seats is definitely different as I'm sure you've seen in the photos. And the premier trim gives you a separate upper door section with soft-touch plastic. Not sure if there is any difference to the stitching that is red on the redline premier trim or not.

Soft touch materials in select areas, high quality perforated leather door cards, dash and extra seat stitching.

I am ordering my GT tomorrow. They are giving me "invoice" price, which we all know there is still profit in there for them. Two dealers gave me the same "invoice" price and I am getting one of the dealers to tint the windows at no cost. I am looking forward to owning my first Mustang.

If you're going to get the premium trim, get the redline. It's not a bright red, more of an earthy, brick red. It looks very nice in person (and more importantly matches really well with ingot silver).

Amen to that! Redline looks great with many colors (like my Oxford White and DIB) but is particularly awesome with Ingot and Magnetic.

If one ordered like the OP but with recaros, would the doors be the only difference?

Softer upper and a different "door card"?

I pulled the trigger October 3rd, and it should be here December 18th. I have noticed a lot of people go with 20-30% tint all the way around. I am a fan of limo tent in the legal areas. I have the darkest legal tint in the front of my Raptor, limo on the rear doors and back glass. I know it is all personal preference, but is there a good reason not to do limo on a Mustang, besides it being difficult to see out of at night? This is my first car, may be it's not necessary in a car this small to get a good look without going with limo tint.

Depends on where you are. 70% is the max that's legal here. Don't know what it is in Texas. And you want to be able to see at night.

Ok, here is the latest. My car is awaiting shipment and is scheduled to be here on the 26th now instead of the 18th. I looked at my window sticker and discovered instead of the premium ebony leather, I am getting Recaros. I called my dealer and told them that there was a screw up. I don't plan on paying for the Recaros, one of the reasons I "ordered" a car. I hope they are somewhat comfortable.

You lose heated and cooled seats (if you ordered a model equipped with them) and maybe (not sure) powered seats with the Recaros FYI. I would be furious personally.
