A sad day... RIP GT350

I had a bit of a brain fart a couple weeks ago that ended badly for my GT350. Left the car in neutral in the garage and ran back in the house to grab the key. The following photos were the result of my negligence. I will post more once I get the quote from the repair shop. Definitely have to sell her once she’s fixed, so I will be sure to post her number once I get a look at her again.

this really beats the time i didn't put the parking brake on and it rolled into the garage door leaving a small scratch on the nose.

This has happened to a lot of us , I rolled into a friends Subaru WRX in a similar situation to yours but it wasn’t a very steep road and there was no damage.
I feel your pain. At least you are insured.

Ugh... that had to be quite an awful feeling when you realized what happened. Like they say, however, things can be replaced. Good luck with everything.

Did any of the airbags deploy?

My guess is it may be a total loss looking at how bad that core support is damaged… and only guessing at what else at the front of the engine is damaged.

You left it in neutral and it rolled into a tree, upgrade through grass with enough force to to do that level of damage?

Would I have asked the question if it were that obvious? The correct answer would be it is a lot steeper than it looks.
