A forum search didn't turn much up. Those of you who have monitored your fuel mileage - what are you getting? I commute about 11 miles each way to work 3 days/wk and was getting about 19.5 mpg in my 12 GT with 3.31 and 6 speed and 19 inch wheels. My first full tank on the GT350 was 15.6 mpg. Sort of surprised it dropped that much as I don't notice much difference in rpm in 5th and 6th gear with the steeper gear.

I know - who buys the car for gas mileage? I didn't either but I have to ponder something on those sleepy drives to work in the morning and I'm just surprised it fell that much. :headbonk:

I drive it like I stole it. If it's all red light to red light, I get about 10-11 mpg. If there is some freeway driving it jumps way up to 12-13. If I manage to stay out of it for a half a tank on a road trip of 20 miles or more, maybe 14.5-15. Staying out of it for me as compared to others is likely very different. LOL. For me that just means no 8,000 rpm pulls.

Depends on the commute... On the freeway mostly? Average about 20-21. If in city only (my case) , I rarely go above 16.

I get 16/17 mpg in mixed city/highway driving on my daily commute. This is ~ 2 mpg less than I got with my '15 GTPP.

For me, the first few tanks were lower mileage that were not representative of what ended up being the norm.

I have to laugh at the comparison to a GT. It isn't a GT.

I averaged about 19.1 over a year of daily commuting with one track outing in my 2015 GT with manual transmission. I'm averaging a little over 18 with the GT350 with similar driving habits. Frankly I was surprised that the fuel economy didn't drop more for me. However, the GT350 will absolutely gulp down fuel at the track. So if you have a lot of track days or drive the car super aggressively on the street your fuel economy will definitely suffer.

City commute - generally 40 - 50 mph. A bit of stop and go but not much. I'm 66 so I probably drive fairly conservative compared to most younger drivers. With traffic the way it is anymore and having developed a healthy respect for pain and injury over the years, I'm just trying to stay alive a few more years at this point.

Over the weekend I drove from Des Moines, Iowa to Dallas for the Cowboys/Packers game and averaged about 19.9 for the trip.

I set the mileage computer on the GT350 I used at the Track Attack. It showed about 6 mpg by the end of the day. :ford:

This car has attitude and when I decide drive so do I. So don't even look grab the High Test nozzle add feed the addiction. I hate waiting for it to warm up. On it first two tanks home it broke 20.

I can relate . At 51 years old I drive a little spirited on the back roads in Maine out in the country . I do get on it from time to time. just can't resist. I have been averaging 20.6 for most of the my time

Hate to bump an old thread, but posting with my '18 GT350's first gas tank mileage:

11.3 mpg

Woohoo!

It is slightly worse than my long term daily driver, a 2008 Audi RS4.

I have continued my trend of progressively worse mileage vehicles for my entire driving life! :)
