Haven't driven car for over a month. Started her up today to get gas before putting her up for the winter and am getting "Driver Mode Not Available". Can't switch mode, use the Tracks Apps, put exhaust in Sport Mode, etc. Anyone have a thought on what this might be before I call Ford?

Thanks all.
Same thing was happening to me. First it only happened every bow and then. Then it started happening every time I drove it.

It would not switch exhaust modes or driving modes.

Typically driving for a few miles, stopping and turning off the car and back on would fix it.

I do believe it has to do with the battery being low on juice though. Here is my theory: When you engage the clutch the exhaust valves open and close. When the car can't complete that function it gets one or both exhaust valves stuck in an offset position (located on the exit of the inner pipes of both mufflers)

One time I looked at both valves and my left valve was half open and my right valve was fully closed.

Pretty frustrating being forced to drive in normal exhaust mode when 90% of my pleasure comes from hearing the exhaust notes while driving!

I have a good friend who works at my local dealer so I gave him a call. And had him trouble shoot the issue etc.

Longs story short (even though this is a long reply) they replaced one or both of my valves in the exhaust and now I do not have that issue.

No "drive mode selection unavailable"!

All is well now. Back to full sport mode driving :)

Thanks, I think you nailed it. Assuming the weather is good (right now it is not), I'll make an appointment with Ford to fix.
