I'm gonna disagree with some posters in this thread about making this a sticky.
To the perspective buyer, this thread is important. If I were in the market for a 350/R I would want to read this thread in its entirety. If I still chose to purchase, I would do so knowing that this is a real issue...
For what it's worth, I live in a right to work / non-union state, NC, and some of the workers here are just as sorry. I'd be willing to bet that its the same everywhere.
Chances are it won't, but that's beside the point. Two different classes of cars that are (will be) both extremely well at what they do.

I think the GT500 will have a MSRP starting price near the mid 70's. ADM's will possibly push purchase prices near the mid 80's/low 90's. In some cases higher......
