Ehhh I think the vibes from the Voodoo will ruin it if it was Ti , if it were to be designed in a fancy material it would have to be 3d printed from inconel and have it made in pieces with lots of slip joints , I’m no engineer .. far from it lol yet have owned a dozen sport bikes all with Ti full systems and I have had 3 headers crack over time due to fatigue and of course vibes. Big fan of Ti but only in certain applications
Were the headers heated and bent into shape to make the curves? Thats the problem. It makes the ti briddle. I got a ti system from the company that Blackmans Aprilia racing team got theirs from including the same diameter and 60mm end caps. They never had problems with theirs cracking and neither did I. Hell, i put 22k miles on those pipes including some track days. Look up Tigcraft Japan. There are a work of art

The first FS to crack was a Akra set on a 2002 R1 after around 28k , small crack but nonetheless she did crack , also had a Muzzy system crack but this one was way at the bottom at the collector for a zx12 but it was bought used and had god knows how many miles and heat cycles . For the most part the Full Ti Systems for bikes have been pretty stout but after owning a 9 bikes all w full ti systems , some more than one of brand of system I have had a couple develop cracks over time … but that doesn’t stop me from buying another FS for the next bike in the garage :)

I'm sure it's because they used a potato to record it but... it sounds I don't know, tinny? NGL I'm still having trouble finding a video that sounds quite as good as the one in Doug DeMuro's test drive.

Even if these puppies did somehow sound better, I dunno if I could justify a couple G's for it.

I'll be sure to post once mine is installed, I am told February is when the package is being sent out.

Have been wondering about any power pickup on these. Think we get a dyno of gains or this is all for the sound?

I’m confident we will see power increases. I know our we have a fpc but when this style was tested on a cammed c6 vs normal full length headers / X/ etc .. it was immediately felt that the 8-4-1 style setup was superior in terms of power . I’ll post the link in a little bit so you can see for yourself.

If a power increase exists, it will be the worst bang for the buck period. I'd get a blower over that exhaust all day every day. Even a temu blower.

The blower is coming too. A full “traditional” exhaust system from front to back usually runs around $4–5k, and this setup falls right in line with the 8-4-1 system. My Ultimate long-tube headers alone were $2,700 shipped, plus the “off-road” mid-pipes at $600 shipped. Add a cat-back, and you’re right there in that same range.

I agree that the cost per horsepower isn’t as efficient as a blower, but the combination of both checks every box for my ideal street car. To me, she needs to be a triathlete—capable across multiple disciplines. That means having the distinct sound of the 8-4-1 setup and an extra 100 hp coming in around 4,500 rpm, with a linear pull all the way to redline—without the weight penalty of a Whipple or similar supercharger that adds over 100 lbs high up on the nose.

Add a few suspension tweaks and additional hardware and boom I am as happy as a clam 😬
