The only way you can know if your car is faster than another car is
to race them head to head.
The little paper slips are nice and all and I'm sure several of these
guys take great pride in their numbers but, that is all they are; numbers.

If you get on a course or an actual country road with hills, curves and
challenges, you'll never know how fast your car is or how well you can
drive or if it is faster than another.
My Camaro SS would SMOKE the tires off on take-off, the Mustang won't.
However, the Mustang probably would have beaten the Camaro. (?)
The Camaro did handle better and power was constant. (stock)
I wish I could have raced against myself in both cars to see how well
they would paired against each other.

Competition racing is what it is all about.
Not racing a clock............................................................
I agree but I think a far comparison would be for the same driver in both cars for a proper head to head. But living in reality, a 1 on 1 is in order.

me personally, I think it’s more fun to go all out in a really f#$king cheap car. Say a Chevy Aveo or a Nissan Versa. Then it is to try and go fast in a expensive high performance car. Call me crazy.:crazy:

I saw a video recently of a 1st gen Miata with a built engine & a turbo kit making around 400 HP (later spooling). The thing sounded awesome and looked like a riot. I could do something like that (cheap & light with a turbo) ... costs WAY less than I newer car too.

I'd see myself in a built EJ25 Subaru with that boxer rumble.

Nothing wrong with old junk. I could probably build a 10 second SN95 for less than 10 grand all in. nitrous & junk yard Windsor or LS motors are both cheap.

I have heard "It is a lot more fun driving a slow car fast than driving a fast car slow" many times. I had a POS 2003 base Mini with a 5 speed. It was a blast! I would buy another if they weren't maintenance nightmares.

The answer to the op post is very simple. S550 stock vs S550 boosted. The boosted S550 is 100000% faster. The only thing preventing a boosted car from beating a stock one is simply tire and being able
To hook up each gear with out spinning. Period!
