600 hp 5.2 voodoo

If I have time when I get off work today I'm going to pull my stock intake off and check the cobra jet intake and throttle body fitment and clearance. I hope it all clears. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Use an external microphone plugged into the jack on the side. I've tested multiple microphones at a bunch of different price ranges. The Olympus ME-51s is decent for its price, I've seen them for as little as $15 though they are usually $25-30. I also have an Audio Technica ATR-6550 which does a great job at only picking up the exhaust sound and nothing else. I've got a test video on my YouTube channel, I'll post it up later.

Welp, the cobra jet intake and throttle body does not fit. It hits the hood behind the hood grille. This sucks because I was hoping to really use this intake.

No sir. The cobra jet intake is almost 3" taller and because our hoods are about 1-1/2" lower it hits big time. Even motor mounts won't help. I'm bummed lol. So now everyone knows. Do NOT try a cobra jet intake lol. Also if you look at our hood liner the coolant tank cap is recessed and it's not a lot of room between the cap and hood. Proof of this is seen where the stock CAI in sealed to the hood.

Not really because when u close the hood down its still opened to the bumper by only a inch or so. Can't get a good pic. I'm sorry guys.

The cobra jet intake sits taller then the strut brace also. Not by much. Maybe a 1/4 inch.

Yea that's the gap I wanted to see.. If it's less than a inch, the motor mounts will prob work.

Even lowering the motor 3/4" won't clear it.
