I guess I am strange, I would love to remove the plastic, relocate the radiator overflow tank and hide the air box to see the Coyote.

Outstanding work! This is something Ford should have figured in when redesigning the new engine cover and making it a thing of beauty.

Thank you !! Really appreciate the good feedback. I'm really happy with how it came out ..it was something I wanted to do even before I got the car .. definitely many weekends went into this project .

I definitely agree I feel like they didn't put much time and effort in the refresh came out for the engine cover. I did my best to try to fix it

Yeah Halloween is one of my favorite holidays definitely an inspiration with this color scheme... Looking forward to the trick and trunk car shows this year I'll take the mustang and Chevelle this year for sure.

Simply amazing work Elvis66! I was going to "toss" my engine cover on my 19, however, after seeing this, I may reconsider now... my car is Kona Blue, but, your work has insired me to get creative. Any tips on what type of paint to use (considering the heat under the hood in our cars). If you were closer, I would gladly send you mine and pay you for your time, but, I think I can get my hands dirty for such a nice result. (not sure if I have the skills to get your results, but, I'm going to try). As others have mentioned, you could certainly get a lucrative side business going just on Gen 3 Coyote engine covers for sure. You are very talented!

Thank you ! Really appreciate the kind words ..yeah don't toss it ..turn it into something nice . My recommendations for the paint that I use is a company called paintscratch. they can mix it up for you ready to spray from a gun or even in a spray can .they also have 1k clear and 2k clear. As long as you prep the plastic . grease and wax remover..then lay down a good paint promoter, ideally for plastics..use a flexible primer for plastic and fiberglass..wet sand . then you'll be for your base coats.then clear. Hold's up great with the under hood temperature and lately it's been in the triple digits outside as well.

Thank you !! I use a company named paintscratch..they are excellent!! And They use OEM paint..they can make it up for you to use in a spray gun or aerosol can..they h offer primer for metal and primer for flexible plastic they even have 1K clear and 2K clear. Their paint is a perfect match.
