Did 287 miles, mostly highway but also some around town and managed a true 28 MPG! And it's brand new!! Can't wait to see what happens when she's broken in :)

Third fill up and I'm getting 25 mpg this time mostly around town and some hwy. It's crazy because my Ecoboost Fusion gets about the same around town mpg! This V6 is a hidden gem of an engine and one car the aftermarket shouldn't underestimate !

Reset the trip 1 odometer for a 5 hours of highway driving and got 28.1 with 3.55 gears going speeds 70-80mph.

I think 30mph is achievable going 60 but aint nobody got time for dat round here. : )

First 500 miles averaged 25.3... 50-50 highway and city...after break in I believe I will average 28mpg. If I place CAI and less restrictive exhaust, I think 30 is doable.

first few tanks i was mashing the gas pedal cuz i just couldnt help myself and was getting 17-18. next two or three tanks i had the cai installed and was still mashing the gas but was getting closer to 20. latest tank with roush exhaust and much more highway driving than last few tanks and im at 22.6

definitely saw an increase with the airaid cai tho...

Well, haven`t done a close check yet but with just over 2000 driven since Jan. delivery, combined City & Highway driving with lots of traffic and stop and go conditions,.....Meh. Got the 3:15 axle with A/T and guess average around 25 mpg +-? Not bad but not great either, about what I expected though. Going from a 2012 Kia Rio LX Hatchback with a 4 cyl 1600 c.c engine with A/T that got got low 20`s in City and barely low 30`s Highway, considering the weight, performance and styling of the 2015 Mustang Convertible over that Sub-Compact B-Segment Kia Rio, I`m all-in with the Stang! Considering the price point difference of the Base V6 Convertible compared to the Premium EB 2.3 4 cyl or the Premium 5.0 V8 GT, I`m happy with my choice!

Sounds like you made some of the same comparisons that I did to pick the V-6 Mustang vert. My 2013 GT had a grand engine that loafed along and could hardily be opened up for fear of incarceration, but this V-6 is no slouch! Love my 25-30 MPG as I cruise around below the Cop's attention. I loved all 9 of my previous Mustangs that all had V-8s, but this 2015 V-6 is faster than most of them. Getting the vert with wheel option, reverse sensing, and spare tire for $28700 seemed like to good a deal to pass up... She's great looking and loves to run around topless!

I agree Rough; With the A/T, adding the 051A package minus (Spoiler Delete) at No Charge, and adding the Spare Tire, a lot of Bang for the Buck with a MSRP of just over 32K. Using X-Plan and adding the EAA $750 Cash Incentive (plus) Fords additional $500 Cash Bonus brought the actual price down to just over 28K! For a "Daily Driver", looks like a 45K Sports car! No regrets here.

I ran my first road trip with mine and got a constant 7.3L/100km (32.22MPG) calculated by hand. For a v6, manual transmission, and 3.55 rear end, I can't ask for more. She's not even broken in yet (has 600km on it... 372 miles). Looking forward to what the future holds with this beauty. (87 octane, no tune... just bone stock)

I'm averaging 19.2 combined although I took a 4 hour trip recently. My mpg for that trip didn't go past 25mpg which was a little disappointing but I'm assuming that the 3.55 axle had something to do with it
