I noticed that the passengers side header causes friction between the catalytic converter and the side wall. Anyone else?

Do your passenger side headers cause the catalytic converter to rub against the side wall next to it?

I installed then today. There is a nice low tone but also a tame Ness to them. I don't regret buying them but I would have bought the atak if given the chance again.

I looked into the diameter of the pipes and the stock size is the same as aftermarket. Besides some weight, I don't see a big difference. I'll be receiving the S-Type Axle Back on the 23rd

Considering no one else has made a catback for the v6 including the convertible, I can bet the price won't hold many a people back. If no one else makes on, I'm gonna be getting this exhaust.

You're right about that. I did torque them to the max to make sure the connection was secure. I'm starting to think the hiss is normal since it's paired with the engine's acceleration and my air to fuel ratio hasn't depleted at all. I also saw some video reviews of headers and when those people...

I installed them just under 2,000 miles. I used the BBK gaskets.

I just figured a full cat back is all around the best bang for buck. I'd also like to keep the stock system intact in case the dealer needs to see the car down the line

I recently installed BBK shorty headers on my v6. I noticed after the install that there is a bit of a quick airflow hiss coming around the engine compartment when I just barely accelerate. What I'm hoping is that I just never noticed the sound before and it's just airflow going into the engine...

Can any of you please check to see if your cat makes a low hissing sound when slightly accelerating? I installed the headers but maybe I didn't notice the sound was there before. The hood needs to be open to hear it. Please let me know.

It was about a month and a half to get it to the dealer. Pretty quick I'd say. I do have pics but can't seem to upload them. I have gotten a good amount of compliments on the build though.

I'm averaging 19.2 combined although I took a 4 hour trip recently. My mpg for that trip didn't go past 25mpg which was a little disappointing but I'm assuming that the 3.55 axle had something to do with it

I special ordered mine back in February in Guard Green with 3.55 axle. It would have been close to impossible to get the car in the package and color I wanted from any dealer with the convertible top. I got a great deal so I didn't mind the wait.
