Why do you want the front higher than the rear?
I don't, his setup with the 275/40/19 up front would do this, I am advocating against it

I have 285/35/19 Fronts (Michelin Sport 4S)and 305/35/19 (Mickey Thompson Street S/S) Rears, It looks great IMO and fills out the car nicely.

Beautiful car, Iā€™m debating to go with 285/35r19 or 295/35r19 on my rears with the Continental Extreme contact sport 02.

Thanks! I came from the 275's from the PP1 Wheels, It just looked weird having a smaller tire on back. I think you would be happy with the 295's It fills out so much nicer and gives it a nice overall look.

I drive my car almost every day during the summer months and It has been fine. If anything its much better when I went to the drag radial because I get much better traction on the street when I want to do some spirited driving, I'm sure the tire being wider helps as well.

Well, I think Iā€™ve made up my mind. RTR Tech 7 gloss black, fronts 19x9.5, rear 19x10.5 with Continental Extreme Contact sport 02 , 275/35r19 fronts and 295/35r19 rear with Eibach Pro kit

If you want the RTR's go with 9.5" F and 10.5"R and do 285/35/19 Front and 305/30/19 Rears and call it a day. Buy good tires like Michelin Pilot Sport 4s or if All Seasons are an option the Michelin All season tires.

This is very useful article on what work or don't work wheel and tires sizes. And usually 0.5" don't mater that much so if the article is saying 10/11 you can go with 9.5/10.5 as well. Especially if it's a street car.

Since you are relatively new to this Mustang stuff may I suggest LMR for your tire and wheel setup. All of their combos are meant to fit. Iā€™ve ordered both sets of my wheels from them and fitment is perfect. Tire brand and compound should be taken into consideration when buying to match your driving needs. I fucking thrash my 18ā€™ GT on the streets with Nitto G2ā€™s in summer and some shitty Kumhoā€™s in winter.

I personally love a staggered look. I run a staggered set on my s197 and drive in a shit ton of rain with no issues (think Seattle) with summer tires (firehawk indys - great bang for buck tire). I run snowies on my stockers. Good luck, the nittos suck and there are MANY other options! My .02

I have Mach 1 and use the Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus as my everyday tire (I live in PA). Mine came with the handling package rims which spec 305/315 - 19s, however I bought the rims that came on the non-handling package version which spec 255 in the front and 275 in the rear (also 19s). The Conti's work great on the slightly narrower rims. The tires were a bit squirmy when pushed hard for the first 100 miles or so, but after that they've been great. On the wider rims I run Cup 2's however they are brutal for everyday use - they are for the track only, in my opinion. You won't be upset with 275s in the rear.

I also live around the PA/DE area with my Mach 1. I have the MHP1 wheels from LMR in 19 x 10 square with 275/40/19 (DWS06 plus) and Velgen classic V2 in 20 x 10 square with 285/35/20(Firehawk Indy 500). For daily driving, I'd highly recommend square, and the difference between 285 and 305 is negligible, in my opinion, and tire compound is way more important than the width at that level.

My suggestion would be to run a square setup, I personally drive on 700WHP with a square setup.
285/35/20 using Falken FK510 tires.

Also I am from GA. With square setup you can rotate tires, this you cannot do on a staggered setup (READ MORE MONEY). Ditch the Nittos, those are not good.

You don't really NEED the staggered setup unless you like the look. when it comes to wheels different rim sizes need different size tires. Also the bring me to the point the larger the wheel and tire combo the more inertia due to weight. Larger tires can also make your car accelerate slower due to the tire height.

That being said there is some good advice for you in this thread.
