Is a test drive really necessary?I was able to test drive mine prior to purchase.
Yeah that’s not what I said. I said sticker. Sticker is easy to attain for any Shelby even with an adm with a dealership who actually wants to sell a car. I also said prior to Covid 350s were easy to get below sticker. A lot of times thousands below. You have false inflation right now especially when it comes to the used car market. These prices aren’t going to stay where they’re at.I think he was trying to say that everyone pays under MSRP and that anyone who pays over doesn't have a clue........
Or something like that.
What did you end up paying over sticker on the adm?A little wash and some sunny day pics
Hell yea it's neccesary. I'm not plunking down $100k and big insurance bump unless I know it feels "right". Having owned a few S550 variants for the cost of $50k, if it isn't double the pleasure, I'll stick with existing. Is a test drive really necessary?
I own a 2018 GT350, so I think mine is pretty close car-wise. (not engine-wise… ) When I was looking, the only place that let me drive a GT350 was at a Mini Cooper dealer and of course, the car was used. No one would let me drive a new one and even the car I bought from a private owner was not driven until I took it home.
I am not planning to plunk down $100K for mine.Hell yea it's neccesary. I'm not plunking down $100k and big insurance bump unless I know it feels "right". Having owned a few S550 variants for the cost of $50k, if it isn't double the pleasure, I'll stick with existing.
I'm going to go with a base car with the heated/cooled seats and technology package. No recaros, or CF anything. Solid black or White with blue or black stripes. I'm hoping to get that for $75k. PM me someone please.I am not planning to plunk down $100K for mine.
Sounds like you will probably find one for $78k if you look hard enough. Atleast assuming MSRP on the car you are wanting is $78095I'm going to go with a base car with the heated/cooled seats and technology package. No recaros, or CF anything. Any of the big 3 most time will not let you test drive unless they have a used on. I have. bought a Hellcat(16), Z06 (18), and GT500 (‘20 and ‘21) without ever driving any of them. I asked and they laughed everytime.Hell yea it's neccesary. I'm not plunking down $100k and big insurance bump unless I know it feels "right". I was able to test drive a new in 2016 Z06 (650hp). I ended up buying it because it was incredible. I think because I was 45yrs old and had an 825 credit score they saw a mark.Any of the big 3 most time will not let you test drive unless they have a used on.
