Wow. That was fast. Please post lots of content. Did you ever get a ride in one or drive one before buying that one? I'm trying to find a way to.
I was able to test drive mine prior to purchase.

Is a test drive really necessary? :sunglasses:

I own a 2018 GT350, so I think mine is pretty close car-wise. (not engine-wise… ) When I was looking, the only place that let me drive a GT350 was at a Mini Cooper dealer and of course, the car was used. No one would let me drive a new one and even the car I bought from a private owner was not driven until I took it home.

I think he was trying to say that everyone pays under MSRP and that anyone who pays over doesn't have a clue........

Or something like that.
Yeah that’s not what I said. I said sticker. Sticker is easy to attain for any Shelby even with an adm with a dealership who actually wants to sell a car. I also said prior to Covid 350s were easy to get below sticker. A lot of times thousands below. You have false inflation right now especially when it comes to the used car market. These prices aren’t going to stay where they’re at.

You will have to get very lucky to buy a CFTP car for MSRP. I did have a ‘22 deal at “sticker” to order but it was worth the $4k adm I paid to have my ‘21 now and not want until next fall to pick up.

Now a base car. If you do enough calling and be patient then you should be able to find one all day. When I ordered my ‘20 I ordered it at sticker. Sold the ‘20 base to autonation honda for $7k over sticker. So that helped pay the adm for the CFTP

I feel very lucky to have received the car I wanted CFTP in the color I wanted. Antimatter is only a 1 year color so I had to pull the trigger sooner than later. I paid 5k over from a dealership 2 hours from me. I have no regrets and consider myself very fortunate and lucky to be able to get this car and keep my GT350

Hell yea it's neccesary. I'm not plunking down $100k and big insurance bump unless I know it feels "right". Having owned a few S550 variants for the cost of $50k, if it isn't double the pleasure, I'll stick with existing.

I'm going to go with a base car with the heated/cooled seats and technology package. No recaros, or CF anything. Solid black or White with blue or black stripes. I'm hoping to get that for $75k. PM me someone please. 😁

Sounds like you will probably find one for $78k if you look hard enough. Atleast assuming MSRP on the car you are wanting is $78095

Any of the big 3 most time will not let you test drive unless they have a used on. I have. bought a Hellcat(16), Z06 (18), and GT500 (‘20 and ‘21) without ever driving any of them. I asked and they laughed everytime.

I was able to test drive a new in 2016 Z06 (650hp). I ended up buying it because it was incredible. I think because I was 45yrs old and had an 825 credit score they saw a mark.

Ended with buyers remorse once the winter came. I'm dumb.
