2024 Saleen 302 Black Label

Was checking out the new Saleen 302 black-label. Not my cup of tea, but interesting. What do you guys think?

I particularly don't like what they've done to the front of the car. Not digging the wing either. Nor the exhaust.

I like it, looks really good. I dig the spoiler too, looks like an homage to the foxbody days IMO.

Grill....looks like a Dodge.....Other than that....cool color....cool car! For some reason painting that trunk panel makes a world of difference!

It looks way better than stock!
It could be better, but it's a big improvement over the ridiculous stock truck grill.

The article talked about an exhaust with an F1 inspired sound, and that's not a selling point to me.
It's a good thing it's an option, so I can opt out (in my daydream where I can spend >$100k on a car).

I wish the article spelled out if they were using a Tremec transmission.

I like that they fixed a lot of things I don't like about the S650's aesthetics. The front end does look like it's Dodge-inspired, but it's uniquely Mustang too.

It's a bit of a trademark of Saleen's, but I've never been a fan of the taillight treatment on them. It's immediately recognizable, but on the S650 it really doesn't work for me.

It maybe the color, but it looks like a car from the early 2000s, when auto makers produced the ugliest cars! Too many soft lines and I agree with others, front end makes me think Dodge! (Who probably made the ugliest cars in the early 2000s)

I'm not a fan of Saleens this one being no different. I actually like the way the S650 GTs look, but, not the dark horse!

Go Saleen for making a good looking version.
Although in Ford's defense, they didn't set the bar all that high to begin with.

I really like what they've done. It's way better than stock, IMO.

I like:

• Painted rear looks awesome. Big upgrade over stock
• The center exhaust looks good.
  In general, I like this rear end a lot. As a rear end aficionado, SALEEN did a great job. Diffuser looks great with the exhaust and the vents on the side rears are sexy as hell. Wish my 550 had them
• Love the color!
• Love the 800hp
• Like the hood vents. Wish my S550 had them

Don’t like

• Front end looks like dodge and I hate it
• The front lower inlets in front of the wheels look taken off a Kia or Hyundai. One of those cars, I don’t care enough to even determine which one, has those exact style inlets and I hate them
• Don’t like those reflectors around the wheel well. I know it’s not SALEEN’s fault, it’s a 650 thing but I hate them
• Not a fan of the wheels, I think black or dark grey would be a better choice for the color but I don’t hate them.
