Hi. So I brought my manual 2024 mustang to my Ford dealership to address the clutch line recall. After the service was performed ,as I was driving it back home, the clutch felt different. It now has some play in it, an inch or more play before I engage the clutch. I had to move my seat forward so I wouldn't stall. Is this the way it's going to be?. Thanks

Probably some air trapped in the line. Pump the pedal many times ( could take dozens or a hundred) and it will eventually force the air out

I had a new clutch put in by Ford last year and I had the same problem. Just air in the line, it went away after I spent a morning pumping it out.

If you get a stick or 2x4 or use your imagination, if you depress the clutch pedal and lock in the down position with the stick, leave it over night most if not all the air will be out of it.
