I am pretty sure he is referring to a base price of $90K.

I guarantee none is getting one at 90k. I played around on the build and price and a 2LT coupe no other options but the Z51 package is 80k

Based on how hard it it to get a normal corvette.. this corvette will probably start at around $100k-$120k and with mark up and how limited the build is I would imagine they will actually sell for close to $200k. That’s insane especially for 1st year special car, who knows what kind of problems it could have etc.. 10 years from now you will
Be able to get one for $65000 when the market has fully crashed and vehicles are worth 30% lower lol

There is really no way of knowing that. Who knows how many GM are going to be able to produce and what supply shortages may pop up. I wouldn't put a definitely time against any number on a wait list.

Oh So #400 means probably in 2023?

Ah! Well all the best to you! :)

Can't wait to get mine in a few years and then sell it for $$$ :)

When did you put your name in? And what do the allocations look like for Ciocca from previous times?
I did the "guaranteed" method to get your deposit in nearly ahead of everyone else. Open an account with the same bank they use, and have a wire ready. Instant transfer. So, my timestamp pretty much beat everyone else who was waiting in line and was only competing with people who did the same.

Ciocca/Kerbeck typically gets about 5-6% of all yearly Corvette inventory. Which is the most of any dealer in the US. I'd assume, pending no supply shortages, they will probably get about 500 2023 C8 Z06's. This is pure speculation.

I’m #7 at my local dealer. Sounds great, but they are a lot lower volume than the names used above. So if I had to guess, probably early next spring. Good thing is they don’t price gouge. Getting MSRP. 2023 ZO6 is an awesome bang for the buck, but the mustang still fits in a slot that I don’t think the C8 can fill. Just my $.02 cents

I'm just waiting for someone to do an AWD muscle car. All these cars are getting so much more power and making it harder to make it useful. Even at a drag strip it's getting hard to put it down without upgraded and some suspension work.

Soon as there as a AWD v8 GT, Challenger or Camaro replacement I'll hop on it.

AWD doesn't obviate the need to remedy the chassis and suspension choices the factory saddled the consumer with. It may paper over the crappy situation to limited extent but it doesn't solve the problem.

No, but i'd feel more planted in rain and snow.

Z06 wait list # 395 at Ciocca Chevy. Largest Corvette dealership in the nation. Have not been a big corvette fan until the C8. Now the Z06 will forever keep my in the GM camp for awhile. Shelby’s have always been parked in my garage. From a 66 Gt350 to the latest 2021 GT500 and everything in between. Owned over 20 and some people can’t believe I like both brands. Had a few C2’s in my days. But this new Z06 will be my second since the 2003 model. That’s how long it’s been. it’s one hell of a machine. Even the C8 Z51 is a blast to drive. I’ll trade that in on a Z06 next spring It seems. Check it out when it hits the dealerships. Like the Shelby it’s on a wait list. But the difference is the top corvette dealerships sell then at MSRP. You have to be able to wait. I was lucky and got my wire deposit in time for a 2023 model.

If your going to purchase one of these bad boys you better have 150k at your disposal. Talked to one of our local dealers and he said for a nicely optioned car this is the ballpark after ADM, could be higher depending on local demand.

and yet how many thousands of the reservations are at MSRP because they were booked at dealers who aren't playing games?
