What source are you getting this from?
I didn't fashion it up so I've either heard or read it in one of the 30 videos or articles floating around the internet. So it all goes in the same basket, just like the forums and fb groups. Which is why 'supposed' was included.

Frankly, I don't care what they do with the next generation, simply stated what I thought would be cool to see. Personally, I'll be happy to get my 430 mile '22 out of a service bay long enough to enjoy it and not have to deal with Ford.

Looking back, putting a good trans in a performance car and not focusing on building something with the absolute cheapest shit possible doesn't sound like something Ford would do, so it'll probably have an mt82.

This. I looked through my history but cannot find it. If I stumble across it again I'll post it up.
I have 3 computers I use so it might be on a different one.

I only asked to see if there was a source beyond what is typically out there. My sense is the same regarding the MT82 hence why I'm looking for an authoritative source.

There will not be a 2023 GT500. Just stating a fact.
no, but there will be a Shelby model for the S650. And it will be faster than yours.

Wasn't the 2013 S197 Shelby faster than the 2015/2016 S550 Shelby?

Define faster. Top speed, yes. Around a track with cornering and braking was needed, no.

That's kind of too my point. The post I was replying to suggested The S650 will be faster....period. it's not always that simple. I'm sure the S650 will have some advantages, but not necessarily all.
