Long overdue post. I took delivery on 9/14, almost exactly 7 months from ordering. Props to Walnut Creek Ford for making it easy. They price protected from February, didn't push any add ons, and even beat my credit union's financing rate.

What an amazing car! This is my 3rd Mustang and by far the best. It sounds spectacular. My last was a 2011 GT with the gen1 Coyote. I've been out of it for a few years now but everything feels more responsive. I certainly never got this kind of attention with the others.

It was MSRP. I've got small children so the out of state options were not on the table for me. Sacramento area dealerships wouldn't budge off $5-$10k markups.

Will they honor price at time of order?

From talking to others out of Chapman. No but I have not discussed financing yet with them. Will update once I have the car.

Baffles me why some sit for over a year, and some built in 3 to 4 months.
At least they have the algorithm to schedule these emails working. :(

Looking at your sig, I would hate it if this delay is being caused by the B&O speakers or the voice Nav. Because of the supply chain or whatever.
If I were you and had 1 extra grand to spare on a deposit, I would place a 2023 M1 order with Granger as a backup … and would go easy on the extra options.

Idea’s good, but no matter what you’re not getting that $1000 back as it’s non-refundable

I had the same experience with the Silicon Valley and S.F. Bay dealers. After I told one that I bought mine out of state, he said they would have done MSRP, but I just don't trust them as all the Mach1's and Bronco's they have for sale were Special Orders, AKA Retail Sales, that are supposed to be spoken for. Somehow they had lots of them up for sale and all at $5k to $10k ADM.

I’m very similar - ordered 4/23/22.. to be delivered to Ford Store Morgan Hill 10/01-10/07. Came by rail through Fresno. Today they told me it’s in Richmond waiting for a truck driver for delivery. Our vehicles were probably on same rail car and maybe same truck (expect any day this week)
