I don't think I heard a single new date this week. With the rumor that Ford might not be sending out build date emails that might not mean much. I went and test drove about 1700hp worth of used cars today in frustration.
What did you drive and your thoughts. I was at the National Mustang show today in Florence SC, the Roush dealer was wanting me to pull the trigger on one of his last 2.
Someone on the GT500 ordered like 2 weeks ago and already has a VIN and build dateWell, they're still doing cleanup scheduling again next week, from the looks of it. Did anyone get a build date last week on these forums?
Most of us who haven't heard anything are probably looking at late May or June build dates with the shortages, but maybe we'll get lucky!
Roush stage 3- Man that car was loud. It was slick out so I didn't really get to get much use out of the supercharger. The dealer snuck in $3k of BS when we talked price. I left thinking I will almost never be able to use that power on the street and still worried about getting burned on depreciation. ~720ish
Yeah nevermind was eco and GT only, makes sense, was weirded out when I thought it was Mach 1s months ago.
I looked at the Window Sticker, it's a Handling Pack car. BUT, Those guys are the classic shyster dealer and haven't missed a bull$hit up-charge. $1600 for edge guards, a cheap tint job and nitrogen filled tires, do people still fall for this stuff? They want to charge you twice for the GPS, but increase it an extra hundred more than already added on the sticker. Nobody gets windows etched any more it's a scam, and paint protection, its probably some crap they sprayed and wiped off, out of a bottle. No pictures, so it probably isn't there yet anyway, and they just got scheduled and a VIN. I would stay miles away from those guys! We should all call and see if it's really there to look at. LOL
The N number only counts Mach 1's not all Mustangs, your VIN and Badge number shouldn't match.
sadly, yes, here a lot of dealers do that over here and call it the Desert Protection Package and some salespeople really don't like when you try to get rid of it (ask me how i know)
Mine attempted to sell me the "PIkes Peak Package" which consisted of 1) a modified break light and 2) nitrogen in the tires. Cost? $1295.99. My response was a polite, "Er, no."
at least they asked you, my dealer will install the nitrogen at PDI and tint, door guards, security system shortly after
i think N counts all mustangs with a chassis number (M1, GT500, EB HO) but they're independent for each trim
