Man, I want my email with a scheduled build date now that I see them coming. Doubt I get it anytime soon, as its an HP car. Congrats, to folks who have.
The order in the system for me is a black, A10, HP, 700A, and elite. I am surprised it is in January with those tires. I drove in sub 45 degrees in my 2021 and it was scary. I spun it 180 one morning.

Pretty excited to get the process rolling!

So I'm not sure if anyone tried here yet but you cannot change the chassis number! 😭 I'm a single digit off from 302! Whoever has that is one lucky guy.

Chassis numbers and VIN numbers do not correlate since Ford does not build the cars in VIN order.

Where did you get your chassis number? Do you by any chance mean VIN? These are two completely independent numbers. The former is assigned during the planning. The latter is slapped on the dashboard by the chassis number manager, who just pulls one randomly from the big box of numbers at the time the car is being produced ;)

Welp I made myself look like an idiot. Sorry, I was told by a Ford rep while ordering that the chassis number is the last 4 of the VIN while checking out the car. Just called and spoke to one of the reps today about the tracking website being down and asked him about it as well 🤷‍♂️ Probably a sales shoot-from-the-hip response for both.

… so there’s still hope then 😂

Easy to make that mistake. I did as well early on. It would have been nice to correlate the two numbers and make it all match!

Technically, Ford could do that, because there cannot be more chassis numbers than there are assigned VINs, but it would mean they would have to manufacture the chassis numbers on demand, depending on which VIN is built (imagine my VIN ending with 2302 coming to the line right now) and there will be "holes" for cancelled orders (even though it seems that cancelled orders with assigned VINs was this year specialty and normally should not happen).

October here, nothing yet. Do not expect it being an HP car.

Well, I have gone to the other side. I have officially cancelled my Mach 1 HP that I ordered back in July and now have on order a 2022 C8. I am still a Mustang fan but gotta try out the Corvette, never had one of those. Should be here in 3-4 months, probably wouldn't have seen my Mach until July 2022 at the rate Ford is going.

I hope you all get your orders built and shipped to you quickly.

I love this forum and will continue to check in.

Merry Christmas everyone!
