Nah, there's nothing wrong.

What's more likely is that your rail route does not begin at the ramp at the plant. I'm not familiar with ramp CA37, but I would imagine it's not the same Union Pacific route that interchanges direct from Flat Rock.

So what's likely happening is similar to east coast, your car will truck from Flat Rock to "a Railhead" I'm unsure which one, and then from there, it will Rail to Nebraska, (based on your bump code)... And then Convoy to your dealer

Let me see if I can find which rail yard in MI it runs from... I haven't seen one of these yet.

CONVOY and west of the Mississippi is a BNSF route, not Union Pacific.

Your car will CONVOY to a BNSF Railhead, and then take a BNSF line to the Ramp which is:
3909 Gibson Road Omaha, NE 68105

Cool! Thanks for all the information. It's not going to make the process any faster, but it is sort of interesting.

Right now my car is "Awaiting Shipment - Released." From this info, this means it's /probably/ waiting to be hauled to the railhead. Is Ford's tracking information typically accurate? Meaning, do cars often not get their status updated during shipping such that they could be on their way but you, the customer, has no idea where it is?

The tracking on the website is usually pretty delayed. The tracking the dealer has is fairly up-to-date. But nothing‘s fool proof.

Talked to FP this morning and they said my car is built and waiting to be released. They said it should arrive at the dealer between Aug 27 and Sept 2.
FYI the tracker still shows in production.

There were a bunch of TT Boss owners who never had any issues with their cars. There are some people who understandably would want to keep away from them and then there are other owners who want them for their collectability. I had an MP Laguna Seca and loved every minute of it. Was this the Purple and blue stripe car?

Dude, you're outing me!! Funny. Yea, purple w blue stripes. The photos didn't do it any justice either. They need that Vanguard Motors carousel and photog. If it was a different livery, I'd probably be calling for on it.

As for the Tooling Trial... what's new for 22 that they'd need do that? The colors? Maybe they wanted to test out grabber blue painted stripes.

I mentioned such a unicorn in a post long ago and someone actually spec'd it. This is truly a rare bird. And as batshit weird as the combo is, I'll bet it looks impressive in certain sunlight.

I saw it last week when I was helping a friend find a car.

That color pops with light, so they should have shot it outside.

Because small parts change every year, the plant has to make sure that it won’t cause any issues with their bread and butter Ecoboost that keep the doors open, so they run them just to make sure that it won’t cause any disruptions.

Some like TT and PP cars, I don’t really care myself, I’m more focused on the production versions.
