Which car and deal are you referring to? The purple one Lightrules referred to earlier?
There’s one in WA state.

While not exactly posting in the right place I figured I might get a quick reply given how many folks just got their cars the last few weeks. Anybody have a good part/model # for a Front License Plate Tow Hook Relocation Mounting Kit. Stupid VA requires front plate, I am tempted to just say the hell with it but thought I might get a good relocation kit if someone knows of one out there.
There are a bunch of different options like the Sto N Sho brackets.
@U-Drag Beast
That is a really good photo...

The ZL1 Addon company has a really nice set up to make the tow hook a license plate bracket. I saw it done to a GT350R. It was sturdy and professional.

Is this the one @Epiphany has on his car?

I like to disassemble things.

Sto N Sho fo sho - gets it done. Positively latches into place and can removed in seconds with a pull of the release and a tug on the plate.

Hearing this makes me glad I gave up on waiting for my Nov-2021 order to get picked up by the plant. Bought this one on Tuesday and am not looking back. This is a mean looking ride!

Well Done! This is my exact spec on the outside. Getting built 8/12. So badass! I can't wait. Enjoy!

Finally picked this up last week at MSRP. Built 6/29 and delivered to dealer 7/26. Number N1565. After waiting over 7 months from another dealer at MSRP they decided to add 10K once they got my allocation. Found this one and never looked back. 600 miles in and this is truly the most exciting car I have ever driven!

Little late posting a conclusion, when the Shelby showed up we were in the middle of moving a business location and, we were headed out of town about 5 days after she arrived. Anyway, as of 17 July she's home. So far, the only chance to drive has been the 25 miles home from the dealer. The dealer was great, even left the grease pencil markings on the glass. Every shipping tag and sticker is in an envelope in the trunk. These cars are pretty special.

Roughly how long has it been taking between "in production" and "built" status?

The painted stripes must be slowing this down. I've seen others posted in less than a month.

How about those without painted stripes? Mine has vinyl.

Sitting in the rail yard seems to be the 'New Thing'.
Heard Ford figured out that letting the 5.2L blocks 'season' with a sprinkling of rail dust on the castings, really helps the integrity.
😳

Or, they are just not ready to ship out cars by rail yet? Both equally implausible. 😆

Our car arrived in July.
We also bought it in July.
Just not the same two - July's.
Glad we are across that finish line now.
Time to put some gear chg's on this toothy Dual clutch & wind up the wind maker.
