Congrats to everyone getting their cars, I didn't get so lucky on the car making the build date. It's currently stuck in paint getting some repairs for dirt in the paint. Oh well, it'll be 2 weeks before production resumes, hopefully it makes it out and gets shipped on their first week back. Would be cool to have the car for my vacation the last week of July. All in all I'm glad the factory caught it vs. Having to rely on the dealer to fix it. Happy to know it has at least began its journey.

@Donkey here's a paint correspondence from a sales rep. Jan 4 order. Just going to get stripes now. Anyone, are the painted stripes the last thing? Or do they need to trim it out after? I can't imagine this car will be to me before Aug. All good. I'm happy to wait and live vicariously.

Usually the last thing, painted cars get sent to Penske for the stripes then come back to plant for final QA before release. I’ve heard adds maybe 2-3 weeks to production time.

The car is sent to Penske for the stripes and when it is returned to the plant it is inspected and then released for shipment.

Is Penske near the factory? Are you familiar with the transport process for that? I'm sure it's discreet. Can't imagine they drive it there.

They send it by truck carrier. If you use unitedroad’s website to follow your car, you should see a separate delivery for Penske listed.

That's really cool. Thank you for that. I see the two load numbers and destinations to Penske and Dealership. It wouldn't let me register/subscribe. Says "something went wrong", of course. That's awesome though.

My CFTP with painted stripes went into production 5/31 and was marked as built 6/29. Seems the stripes add 3 weeks on average

Finally!
Got the call late Wednesday while at golf league, left the course and ran to dealer. Picked it up unwashed Thursday evening and spent all day yesterday unwrapping, cleaning and driving!
Hang in there guys it’ll happen.
Tint guy comes today then some clean pics!

I believe you got the answers you needed. My car is actually in the paint department at the plant getting issues corrected before it heads down the line, they do also correct issues at the end of the line if they are found. It has no stripes etc. Hopefully yours makes it over to Penske and such and gets shipped out during shutdown!
