I just got one of those 'it's time to trade your '17 GT for a new '22' emails from the local dealer. Coincidence that I sold the Jeep?
I know what this is, but I'll play along for a while.
I asked about ordering a '22 GT500 Heritage edition at MSRP.
I'm sure he'll respond with a quick 'we'd be happy to help you with that, just come on down!' without even really knowing what I asked.
Should be fun.
Anyways, I'll let you know what they say.
They are one of the larger dealers in the area.

@JPJr Dude, I saw this post from you the other day, "All day yesterday I was getting quotes on selling the Jeep. Was about to let it go, but I took it out this morning and called it off. Can only have one or the other"

I was like, "what's a 392 Jeep, that's so great he preferred it over a GT500?". I researched it and see it's an impressive, expensive bad ass V8 jeep. Now here you are, you sold it and looking for another Stang. That was quick. You're awesome.

Thanks, Tony. My family uses other words to describe my car habit. ;)
It is a beast. Sounds phenominal. Jeep engineers got it right. Better than any of the Challengers I've had with that engine.
But, I've always had sports cars. A few years ago we bought a older Wrangler as a runabout, and both myself and the wife loved it. We upgraded that to a 'regular' lightly optioned Rubicon and loved it even more.
When I saw the 392, I thought I could combine the two.
It's awesome, but I miss having a sports car. The wife never loved the 392. Sat too high, wasn't as comfy inside, scared her even.
Then Friday evening were over at her brother's. He's also a car nut, and we get to talking cars.
I show her a picture of the brittany blue GT500, along with some other cars he was looking at.
After a bit, she said, where's the picture of the grayish/blue one, I like that one.
So.....
the plan is to go back to the sports car and 'regular' Jeep.
My neighbor works as a Ford accessories dealer, so I'm hitting him up for leads on GT500s.

So I'm soon to be without the sound of a serious V8 to greet me in the garage.
But, figured if I'm serious about this, I needed to let the 392 go and be ready to move on a deal if I can find one.

I ordered one in Ohio on January 31st. Havent heard one thing yet. Went to the dealer and he is telling me it will likely be a 23. He also said they discontinued 3 colors for 22, mischievous purple, the green and of course the color I ordered code orange. I have an order number but no other info. This is really turning intoba stressful event cause I have my mystichrome cobra sold and my 70 is for sale. Will be butt hurt if I sell my cars and dont gwt this thing
