You can almost make out 71-73 style scoops/hood bumps. And a N/A 5.2 CPC would make a lot of people happy without a lot of work.
I think that is a standard 18+ GT hood. What you suggest would be cool, though.

Do you really think Ford would put the 5.2 in anything but a Shelby?
Nope. It's a parts bin vehicle....

So a rebranded bullitt (gen 3 5.0) with more color options and cherry picked parts from various existing models.

I would love to be wrong though and this actually be the rumored AWD hybrid....

I know there is probably less than a 0.1% chance of it happening...but I'm salivating at the thought of an all-aluminum 7.3 in there. A man can dream...

It has already benched at 588hp with only cam and intake.

It’s going to have a traditional Black Matte Mach 1 graphic package, a slighted elevates (cowl) hood with matte stripe, GT350 like fender flairs, along with some as otherwise seen currently on the 350 (including some interior design) fatter rear end look, blacked out Rims, quad exhaust with a different tone. Front fascia ground package with the signature Mach 1 chin. The my20 PP2 option will be standard on them. There will be no shaker hood. Colors are still underway but talks about adding a couple familiar faces back silver and blue in particular, least what I hear. That could change slightly.

I really wish they would add a NACA/NASA style hood. the shaker doesn't look the best on the S550, but that would.

Here's my new take how the Mach 1 could look like
Ace Mach1 Rendering.jpg
eh, I think this body style lends itself to the 71-73 style of curve on the hood, NACA/NASA style. not quit ehte hockey stick stripe though, that doesn't fit

Ideally.....Azure Blue from the '03/'04..........or Grabber Blue from the '70s.

I also hope (and expect) those PP2 wheels will change. I suspect they are just a placeholder.....although the size/offset will likely remain the same. Despite the PP2 wheels being my favourite stock S550 wheel, the Mach 1 needs something unique. I guess a black version would suffice, but I really hope its a unique wheel.

Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing more!

That's exactly what I think (otherwise I probably wouldn't have posted it), they've got the crank, they've got the block. It would not only keep development costs down, but get the Mach 1 in the high 400, low 500 target range it needs to be in. Then they can spend the needed funds on whatever unique detaiils they feel needs to be included, seat covers, spoilers, scoops, hood, etc.

I wonder how Shelby owners would feel about this? Any of you out there?

If the GT350 is dying in 2021 there is no reason not to use a NA 5.2 CPC. They already have all the parts for it, and would be similar to how the 03-04 was powered.

Who cares? SVT guys didn't care the Mach1 had an NA Termi engine. And the GT350 would still be FPC and not CPC.
