So is this another parts bin Mach1? Slightly upgraded Gen3 coyote, GT500 rear valance, PP2 brakes and wheels, GT500/350 base wing? Was really hoping Ford would break that trend with this car, hopefully the production version does.

I am fine with it being mostly just an appearance upgrade to a PP2. Granted if they could do somethings to focus it a bit more onto the track it would be better, coolers, splitters, etc. Or even give it a more drag focus much like the original Machs than track focus which was the GT/Boss/Cobra focus.

I know we'd seen a camouflaged version of this feature before, but it looks to me like the front turn signals are closer to the headlight than the current models.

I think it will function well I would just like to see it set itself apart in a few distinct ways. What we're seeing right now from the exterior appearance looks like someone played Mr. Potatohead with the body parts already laying around the factory as opposed to developing something unique and specific to the Mach1.

I say it's gonna be a Bullitt with the rest of the colors available, A10 or M6, and an optional "handling pack" or whatever they want to call it which gives you PP2 wheels/tires, PP2 splitter, and GT350 spoiler.

Doesn't look like they put much effort in on making it unique. It does look like they hit the parts bin hard. The spoiler looks like an 18+ performance pack spoiler. Not impressed so far.

They don’t want people knowing it is all electric with speakers in the tail pipes. lol.
Maybe that is why they look so large. Mini-woofers.

So they taped up the pony on the front grill. Why? Are they afraid that we wouldn't realize it's a Mustang. Of is there a darker meaning?
It’s so it doesn’t get confused with a Mach E ... :cwl:

If you zoom in more on the spoiler it is a different piece than 18 pp1. The Mach one has a lot more up swing.

I'm pretty sure it's the base GT500 rear spoiler. Also PP2 wheels. Overall the Mach 1 doesn't seem unique based in this prototype, just tacked on parts we already saw elsewhere. But who knows how the final product will look like. Really looking fordward to it!

It doesn't look like that wing at all--it is a GT500/GT350 swing

Looks like the gt350/base 500 "swing"
Yep.

I bet this just ends up being a PP2 with coolers. I'd love to see a DCT CPC 5.2 though.
The DCT is so pricey, that's going to be unique to the GT500 for some time. I'd __love__ to see the 5.2 block utilized in the "regular" GT (and model variants) line. The 5.2 in a CPC (like you said), with the GT350 intake on a DI/FI Gen 3? That's an easy 500HP. Backed up with a 3.55 and an A10? Wow.

So they taped up the pony on the front grill. Why? Are they afraid that we wouldn't realize it's a Mustang. Of is there a darker meaning?
Hahaha, that's the first thing I noticed. Behind the tape ... A CHEVY BOWTIE!>!>! DAFUQ>?!??! :cwl:

I want those tips.
That's what she said. I know, I know, but somebody has to do it.

I'd be interested pending the features / numbers. If this is just a glorified set of badges like the Bullitt, no ty.
It's a little more than badges :)

This Mach 1 would really hook me with a 5.2L naturally aspirated engine rather than an evolution of the 5.0L configuration in the Bullitt. The fact that it is showing a PP2 wheel and brake setup possibly means something to handle a power increase but those parts on a GT are meant for more handling capability.
